Right on time, the company debuted the entire Oppo Reno 12 series in Pakistan through a live event. Among the three devices launched, Oppo Reno 12F 4G goes on retail today. But the other two, Oppo Reno 12 5G and Reno 12F 5G will deploy in our market soon.
Reno 12F 4G is a great starter point for the series. It’s the lowest-end variant from the clan, but it still bags an AMOLED 120Hz panel. There’s 1080p resolution on a 6.67” flat screen. And it’s plenty visible under the sun with 1200nits peak brightness. AGC DT-Star2 is a high-end DragonTrail glass that fortifies it.
You get an IP64 durability rating with the Reno 12F. Because it is a 4G variant, all you get is a (6nm) Snapdragon 685 engine at its core beating at 2.8GHz frequency. It isn’t as fast or as modern as some of the competitors. But it will manage a stutter-free user experience with an Android 14 x Color OS 14.
A single 8 GB RAM and 256 GB ROM option for the Oppo Reno latest mobile gives you plenty of room to work with. Be it apps, files, or multimedia. Cameras are versatile doing 50 MP shots with the first camera and 32 MP selfies from the unit up front. There’s also an 8 MP ultrawide and a 2 MP Macro mode to play with.
AI Portrait, AI Link Boost, and AI Eraser assist with the photos you take. The AMOLED you see here is a traditional one with no fingerprint reader, so they used one embedded into the power key. 5000mAh cell juices the hardware here, and they’ve squeezed in a 45W charging kit under its hood.
Oppo Reno12F comes in Amber Orange, Olive Green, and Matte Grey hues and maintains a slim profile of about 7.76mm. And don’t forget, it’s a high-strength alloy Frame and not your ordinary plastic chassis. You’ll find Reno 12F on the store shelves with only 8GB + 256GB configuration, priced at Rs 69,999.
