Another Oppo phone joins the Reno Club. They call it Oppo Reno 12F 4G — a close twin to the 5G version unveiled last month. They switched the SoC from Dimensity 6300 to Snapdragon 685, but other than that. Features mostly remain unchanged. Reno 12F 4G has launched with these specs.

There’s a 6.67” AMOLED topside. It’s an FHD+ 120Hz panel, keeps a minimal lens crop for the selfie camera, and peaks at 2100 nits brightness. Plus, this panel has a 10-bit depth. So, it produces life-like, very accurate colors. Then, we have a fingerprint reader built right on the screen.

IP64-rated chassis and AGC DT-Star 2 glass take Reno 12F 4G to a new level of durability. Snapdragon 685 SoC may not be the fastest, but it can keep up with an average person’s daily routine. There’s UFS 2.2 storage at up to 512 GB, and we have LPDDR4x 8 GB RAM in the peak variant.

Cameras come bundled with multiple AI features here. 32 MP selfie sensor is on the front, and a 50 MP primary shooter is on the back. Those other lenses at the rear are for 8 MP Ultrawide shots and 2 MP macro. Then, there’s a whole suite of AI features like the AI Eraser and AI Studio in the Oppo Reno new models.

They ship it with Android 14 and ColorOS 14.1. 5000mAh cell juices the hardware here, and they’ve squeezed in a 45W charging kit under its hood. From what we know, there are only two storage options for Reno 12F 4G. One is 8/256 GB, and the other is 8/512 GB. But the prices aren’t official yet.
