Oppo and other Chinese manufacturers launch phones constantly and consistently, quantity over quality. That's one of the reasons why they have a short shelf life of almost six months. And often after that period. They get replaced by an upgraded version. We believe it's the same story with Reno 11F. It launched a few months ago this year. But now we are seeing Oppo Reno 12F clearing FCC's certification.
That newcomer will be along in no time. And it will replace the old Reno 11F. FCC granted the Reno 12F a spot in their database under model number CPH2637. That's how we got to know about its battery and charging specs. 'VCB4JAUH' and 'BLPA79' are the serial numbers of its battery pack and the power brick.
Those codes have details about them in abundance within TUV Rheinland's database. We learned that BLPA79 has a capacity of 4,870 mAh. Typically, this will get rounded off to 5000 mAh. And that's the number you'll see when they air Reno 12F.
And about the power brick code VCB4JAUH. We are positive that Reno 12F will allow up to 45W charging (per UL Demko certification). They are pushing hard to certify the new flagship Oppo mobile globally. That's why there are multiple certifications about it roaming on the internet. It seems Camera FV-5 is one of them.
It's obvious there were some camera stats there. Reno 12F does 50 MP f/1.8 around the back and 50 MP f/2.4 up front for selfies. Some more certifiers cleared it for landing in respective regions. We believe it will go official in Malaysia and UAE, among other markets, very soon.
