The upcoming Reno 13 is on a global marathon reaching smartphone markets worldwide as we speak. In January, the company decided to introduce the handset outside China, and slowly but surely, it has almost reached Pakistani doorsteps. Our insiders have already given us a heads-up. OPPO Reno 13 could launch in the local market any day now.

Oppo will update its Pakistani website with the listings shortly. In the meantime, we have all the Reno 13 specs available on the global and Chinese official landing pages, and you can expect this device to have the same hardware in our country as well.

It all starts with the display. Reno 13 has an AMOLED display, shorter than its Pro sibling at a 6.59” size. The panel is also 120Hz, rated with HDR10+ support and 1.5K resolution. This also means the maker included a Fingerprint ID inside the screen and an Always-on-display.

Reno 13 is the second-best within the squad, better than the Reno 13F and 13F 5G, so it brings the most powerful chip. This handset bags MediaTek’s new Dimensity 8350 platform that cranks the CPU speed to 3.35GHz, with UFS 3.1 class storage. A few years back, this would’ve been considered a flagship tier SoC. Given the Oppo smartphone price, it offers a strong balance of performance and value.

This phone is built with under-water durability in mind. It secured an IP69 rating, so it’s submersible in 2-meter deep water for 30 minutes. That means an under-the-pool photoshoot is a possibility here. Oppo even added auto color tuning for photos inside water and a physical button to control the shutter.

The entire Reno 13 series has AI Live Photo and AI Editing for better control and optimization of your photos. This vanilla Reno 13 isn’t as good as the Pro, but a 50 MP main lens, 8 MP ultrawide, and 2 MP depth is a neat setup. Its selfies are also sharp at 50 MP. It will record videos in 4K/60FPS front and back.

Reno 13 has a 5600mAh backup, 80W wired input, but no wireless charging. This is the category where the Pro takes the lead with 50W wireless input. It’s only a matter of time before we find out cost and availability details of the Reno 13 and the launch date for the Pakistani market. we believe that a similar retail to the OPPO Reno 12 Price would make it a competitive offering. Stay tuned if you want more updates about the phone’s upcoming launch in the country.
