An Oppo Reno 13 series is going official soon and the launch date is already set in China for November 25th. Oppo will debut two devices with this series: one is a Reno 13 Pro, while the other is a base Reno 13. The teaser we spotted recently has the SoC and performance details for the series.

They’ve confirmed that the Reno 13 series will use a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip. It’s unverified if only the Pro variant is using it or both. And if the name sounds familiar, your guess is right. This chip is a tweaked version of the original D8300, so we’ll see the same architecture profile and GPU.

They say that the Oppo Reno 13 series will run 1.5x faster than the old Reno 12 duo, and the numbers do justify it. Reno 12’s chip is not only a generation old but also a class below with Dimensity 7300, so it’s a big upgrade coming your way in the shape of Dimensity 8350.

This will make things way smoother for the Android 15 Color OS 15 system they’ve just teased. Previous teasers also had a lot of info about these Oppo's Reno new models, like the 1.5K resolution flat AMOLED displays and an eye-protection certification for both phones.

The leaks say that the Reno 13 slot in a 5600mAh cell, and you’ll see a 5900mAh battery on the Reno 13 Pro. Of course, with the help of this new chip, they are promising five years of reliable performance in the teasers, and the design was confirmed in leaks weeks ago.
