Oppo Reno 14 Pro Renders Leak with Updated Look, Magic Button, and Key Specs

Oppo Reno 13 Pro was launched in November 2024, and it’s almost at the end of its 6-month cycle. The company plans to refresh the lineup soon with the new Oppo Reno 14 Pro, and we have already started hearing rumors about the device. This is what we know about the newcomer so far.

The Reno 14 Pro got leaked with renders earlier today, which confirmed a new schematic for the phone’s rear camera cluster. It’s a different design compared to the last-gen Oppo Reno 13 Pro, with the primary and ultrawide lenses mounted to the left and the periscope sensor positioned above the LED flash.

It doesn’t veer too far off from the Reno 13 Pro design, though Reno 14 Pro still has a very distinctive look with isolated lens compartments inside the camera tray. The whole imaging setup looks bigger and more prominent in these renders, which could be a sign of better photography.

The source behind these images also hinted at some camera specs for the Reno 14 Pro. This leak claims a 50 MP sensor for the main lens with OIS stabilization and an 8 MP Ultrawide shooter stacked in a vertical alignment. The third one is an isolated 50 MP telephoto periscope sensor with 3.5x optimal zoom. For pricing details, you can refer to the Oppo price catalog.

The rest of the phone has rounded corners and a flat-edge design: nothing we haven’t seen so far. But Oppo might ditch the micro-curved OLED design it used last year. We hear Reno 14 Pro has a metal build with a glass back, and the front display could be a flat OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

This leak spoiled one more surprise Oppo has for its fans this year. It seems the company wants to introduce a new “Magic Cube” button with Reno 14 Pro, placed somewhere on the left edge, though its purpose is a mystery. We have to wait a bit for either the company or the leaks to confirm the details.

Some other details pointed out by the leaker were pretty obvious. Same as last time, Oppo Reno 14 Pro will flex and IP68/IP69 ratings, as far as durability is concerned. There will be an Android 15 operating system running this model by default with a slight tweak. Reno 14 Pro could replace Google’s call dialer with Oppo’s ODialer, which will lead to some interesting developments. Stay tuned to discover the rest of its specifications, building up to the launch.
