Oppo is knocking Rs. 4,000 off the Oppo Reno 2F and the phone is now retailing for Rs. 45,999, instead of Rs. 49,999. Note that the Reno 2F received an Oppo price cut once already this year when it was marked down to Rs. 49,999 from Rs. 54,999.

It’s an AMOLED panel that stretches 6.5” corner to corner, delivering an FHD+ resolution, a 91.1% screen-to-body ratio, covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 5, as is the rear-facing glass panel, which brings us to our next design element: the rear-shell.

The pop-up camera of Oppo Reno 2F is augmented with an RGB LED which glows in as many as twelve colors as the camera swivels in and out. Oppo’s proprietary ‘Hidden Fingerprint Unlock 3.0’ lives under the screen which promises faster unlocking speeds.

The body is a 3D curved, solid glass slab, painted in beautiful Nebula Green, Sky White, and Lake Green Editions. A quad-camera rests in the middle, inside a lengthened capsule-shaped housing. While a similar-shaped decorative strip runs down the length of the back panel, containing Oppo’s branding.

Pop the hood to find a MediaTek Helio P70 processor running things behind the scenes, up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage (expandable up to 256GB). A 4,000 mAh battery and its VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 power the device. According to Oppo’s webpage, you can get up to 8 hours of continuous gaming out of your Oppo Reno 2F and when you’re running low, plug it in, and the fast charge will fill your device to half its capacity in only 30 minutes.

The quad-camera of Oppo Reno 2F uses a 48MP primary sensor with a wide f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a pair of 2MP additional sensors. The front-facing camera has a 16MP sensor behind it. For low-light shots, toggle the ‘Ultra Night Mode 2.0’ which uses AI to generate shots with HDR and low-noise.
