Oppo’s early Reno iterations offered some of the most original and innovative designs for their time and released in October last year; the Oppo Reno 2F was one of them. This pop-up-camera touting model featured a polished design and a robust specification sheet to boot. And the Reno 2F is now retailing with an attractive discount.
Oppo has just knocked off 5,000 PKR off this Reno 2 edition, bringing the price tag down to 49,999 PKR from the original 54,999 PKR. To recall, the Oppo Reno 2F features a detailed iridescent design with deep hues that shift around depending on how light hits the rear shell.
Oppo calls this design ‘Twilight Mist,’ and it’s readily available across Pakistan in Sky Light, Nebula Green, and Lake Green editions at the new discounted Oppo prices.
A pill-style vertical dark band is centered in the middle of the back-facing panel and houses a quad-camera setup. Oppo opted for a 48-megapixel main camera and rounded it off with an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a pair of 2-megapixel portrait and mono sensors. The optics are augmented with Ultra Night Mode 2.0, to optimize image processing in low-light conditions. Mounted on the motorized pop-up mechanism, is a 16-megapixel camera for snapping selfies.
Out front, you’re looking at a bezel-free, and punch-hole-free AMOLED screen that measures 6.5 inches, delivers an impressive 91.1% screen-to-body ratio and produces 2340-by-1080 resolution. An optical fingerprint reader sits under this display, which Oppo claims can unlock your device 11.3% quicker.
To save your device from physical damage, Oppo has coated the front and rear-facing panels with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. In the same vein, the pop-up module uses Free-fall Protection that automatically retracts it if the phone is dropped.
An MTK P70 chipset sits at the heart of the Oppo Reno 2F and is coupled with 8 GB of and 128 GB of storage. The 4000 mAh battery is supported by VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 that can power your device up to 51% in just half an hour. The entire hardware runs on a marginally dated ColorOS 6.1 (based on Android Pie). Reno 2F is now available nationwide at the new discounted Oppo Price.
