Oppo only recently finished rolling out the brand new Reno 6 series to the global market. But the Reno series hasn’t closed out for the year just yet. Product certifications for the next-gen Oppo Reno 7 line are already being collected. It’s reportedly slated for debut next month.
The Chinese 3C authority signed off on two 5G Oppo phones under the model names ‘PFJM10’ and ‘PFDM00.’ Although the listings don’t outright name the phones, we suspect they’ll be launching as Oppo Reno 7 Pro and Reno 7, based on Oppo’s typical naming scheme. But some skepticism is still advised.
The duo is specified to ship with a charging brick titled “VCA7JACH.” This model number belongs to a 65W charger, suggesting the Reno 7 series also uses the same SuperVOOC standard.
The Reno 7 is rumored to feature the Dimensity 920 chipset and a 4500 mAh battery at a high-end Oppo mobile price tag. It works with blazing fast UFS 3.1 storage. The screen is a 6.5” OLED panel that refreshes at 90Hz and delivers a 1080P resolution. Oppo is sticking to a 32MP front camera. The rear camera system is made of 50MP wide, ultra-wide, and macro lenses.
The Pro edition has the flagship Dimensity 1200 chipset. Expect the Reno 7 Pro to also offer a sleek, slim, and featherweight design that’s common to the Reno line.
