Oppo releases a new line of Reno phones every six months with a few mild refreshes. The Reno 7 series is an upcoming sequel to this year’s Oppo Reno 6 family. For months, Reno 7 phones have been cropping up in leaks. And now that we’re nearing the official release, the baseline Reno 7 was was spotted in the wild.

A source based in China published the hands-on photo on Weibo. It shows the phone rocking the ‘Reno Glow’ finish. The Oppo Reno 7 has flat edges, a flat rear panel, and a new duotone layout for the camera cluster.

This design exact design has previously been leaked press renders. We’re looking at an array of three lenses and LED flash. It’s made of 50MP wide, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP portrait cameras. On the front, Oppo has embedded a 32MP camera.

The screen of Oppo's new Reno model isn’t featured in the live photo, but it’s a 6.5” 1080P and 90Hz AMOLED panel. Gorilla Glass toughens the display. Dual speakers deliver surround sound.

Everything runs on the Dimensity 920 and a 4500 mAh battery. 65W SuperVOOC charging powers the Reno 7. Storage uses a faster UFS 3.1 standard. To keep the phone from overheating, Oppo has also integrated a vapor chamber cooling system. Official sources are still keeping the series under wraps, but it should drop sometime this month.
