Oppo Reno 7 dropped in February this year. It's a mid-range series featuring three Reno models. But Oppo hasn't closed out the Reno line for the year just yet. At least one more generation is slated for debut in Q2 of 2022. It's titled the Oppo Reno 8, and the baseline model of this line was just featured in a leaked mockup.
The Chinese phone leaker Digital Chat Station published the press image of the Oppo Reno 8. It shows a design almost identical to that of the OnePlus 10 Pro.
The camera plate wraps around the casing and contains a cluster of three lenses. It comes in at least one matte black color. Also, the screen has an O-hole cutout and a minimal, even bezel. The report includes a few core specifications for the Reno 8.
The latest Oppo mobile packs a 6.55" AMOLED screen that peaks at 1080P resolution, fills a 20:9 aspect ratio, and refreshes at a smooth 120Hz rate. A 50 MP Sony IMX766 shooter leads the rear camera setup.
Digital Chat Station also notes that the Reno 8 line will feature the Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 Pro+ editions. The image is yet to be corroborated, so we advise our readers to take this leaked information with a touch of salt. We'll learn more when the series officially drops in the coming months.
