The Oppo Reno8 lineup made its Asian debut in July 2022. A few months later, Oppo's Reno9 series replaced it in November 2022. Oppo Reno 8T 5G is an extension of the old discontinued lineup. It appears to be in production and seems imminent for launch.
The 4G variant of Reno 8T popped up many times in leaks before, but the new 5G variant has surfaced on the web for the first time. In a Twitter post, the infamous tipster, Sudhanshu Ambhore, leaked a preview of its retail model in a short clip with specifications and prices.
The live shot presents the hands-on view of Reno 8T with the design reminiscing Oppo A58 and A98. It has two silos housed in a pill-shaped platform with two sensors and a flash.
Apart from the black shade, it should bring Gold and Blue color options. The back camera assortment on 8T includes 108MP primary shooter assisted by a 2MP depth mapper. The screen probably has a punch-hole cutout, and the lens underneath uses a 16MP camera for selfies. The new addition to Oppo price catalog does not have straight edges.
Its screen and back are both chamfered. The front of Reno 8T encompasses an AMOLED 6.7-inch OLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and 10-bit color support. Moreover, it boasts a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth animations and snappy gestures.
