Oppo Reno3 Pro Coming to Pakistan Soon; The Camera-centric Phone with Unflattering Performance

According to Oppo’s official Facebook page, the recently-released Oppo Reno3 Pro is headed to Pakistan soon. Here’s everything you need to know before Oppo’s latest upper-mid-range device hits the store shelves at decent Oppo price

Let’s take look at the Reno 3 Pro design first. Out front, you get a 6.4-inch SuperAMOLED panel, that produces a 1080 x 2400 resolution at a standard 60Hz rate – though, you can find smoother 90Hz in this price bracket (last year’s Realme X2 Pro comes to mind). The panel on the back is polycarbonate, as is the chassis, as opposed to a glass build which is also uncharacteristic of upper-mid-range models.

A dual punch-hole sits in the corner of the OPPO Reno 3 Pro display, featuring a 44MP selfie lens, that works in tandem with a 2MP front depth sensor. You can get a hardware-grade depth of field, but the setup falls short when it comes to low-light photography, as does the back-facing multiple-camera – more on that in a few.

Speaking of the rear camera, a 64MP camera, a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP wide-angle shooter, and a monochrome module are arranged in a vertical layout on the back. The ensemble allows for impressive raw performance, but the Ultra Dark Mode for low-light situations actually introduces more noise into the shots.

The Reno 3 pro by Oppo runs on a MediaTek P95 platform, and as is typical of MediaTek chips, you can’t expect to get heavy gaming performance out of your Reno3 Pro. The 4,050 mAh battery takes a hit when you’re playing high-end games, but it supports 30W SuperVOOC 4.0 flash charge that can power up your device to full capacity in under half an hour.

Oppo has paired 8 GB of RAM with this chipset, and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.1 storage options. The hardware runs on the latest Android 10 with the ColorOS 7 skin on top.

There's no official word on the Oppo prices yet but as per the retail tags in the neighboring markets, we can expect the reno 3 pro to be priced around some 69,999 Pakistani rupees after adding up the local taxes.
