Oppo has reintroduced a namesake to the Reno3 Pro 5G launched in China last December, with a revised build and specifications. The freshly-minted Oppo Reno 3 Pro is yet another camera-first Oppo, but with this iteration, you're looking at six cameras instead of five and a lower Oppo price tag as there's no 5G.
Out front, Oppo Reno 3 Pro shows off a twin-selfie-camera embedded inside a pill-shaped punch hole that sits on the top-left corner. The 1080p Super AMOLED panel measures 6.4 inches and produces a 91.5% screen-to-body ratio. Unlike the recent flagship releases we've been covering this year, the non-5G Pro doesn't offer a higher-than-average screen refresh rate.
The rest of the Reno 3 Pro design language is somewhat cookie-cutter. Although, Oppo could have shaved off the bezels further because the chin is a bit hefty for our liking. Underneath this display lies the Hidden Fingerprint Unlock 3.0 which Oppo claims can unlock your device in 0.34 seconds.
The design on the back of the Reno 3 Pro by OPPO is the same story as it was: an oversized camera bump resting in the corner, with four cameras stacked vertically inside. That said, there's no arguing that the polished look and the 'nature-inspired' palette is still pure eye candy, available in Aurora Blue, Midnight Black, and Sky White.
Now for the highlight of the day -- Reno3 Pro's camera performance. Oppo's is selling you a 44MP selfie shooter, combined with a 2MP depth-assist lens that allows for hardware-grade bokeh effect. And to keep your low-light portraits noise-free, the dual-camera is augmented with Oppo's exclusive Ultra Night Selfie Mode.
Featured inside the rear-mounted camera system are a 64MP main camera, a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP monochromatic sensor. You can get up to 5X hybrid zoom and up to 20X digital zoom out of this four-lens package. OPPO Prices the handset really well as it costs only about $415 USD which converts to some 64,000 PKR.
On paper, the performance should be snappy and buttery-smooth, thanks to the MediaTek P95 chip that powers this device and Multi-cooling tech which keeps it from overheating. Also included in the memory configuration is 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS2.1 storage. A 4025 mAh battery drives this hardware with support for 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0, capable of fully charging your phone in 80 minutes.
