Xiaomi’s Poco F7 lineup is almost ready for launch. We’ve seen multiple reports in the past few weeks claiming that the F7 series will debut by the end of March. We are already halfway through the month. The launch is quickly approaching and someone has leaked the exact date for the family’s global launch event.
A leaker on X shared a poster that states “Poco F7 series Global Launch Event.” The description for the user’s post reads “Global launch event on March 27th, 2025.” There are no comments from the brand yet, but the launch seems due in the last week of this month and there’s certainly a lot of excitement around this event.
This will be the first time Xiaomi Poco launches an Ultra flagship model from the lineup. The leaked post also seems to give a hint with the tagline “Ultrapower Unleashed.” Poco F7 Ultra has been in the works for a while now, and we’ve been following this model through multiple leaks, certifications, and Geekbench tests.
From what we know about the device so far, the new Xiaomi Poco mobile has been assigned a model number 24122RKC7G. From the letter G, we assume the device is made for the global markets. A handset with the same model code recently got certified by NBTC, and earlier, it was tested by Geekbench, which helped us confirm the phone’s internal specification.
Poco F7 Ultra will be the most powerful device in the lineup, due to its Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Geekbench AI test revealed that the handset uses a 4.32GHz 8-core engine with 16 GB RAM and an Android 15 OS on board, which will be overlaid by a Hyper OS 2.0 UI. Since the internet speculates it to be a rebranded model, it should follow most of Redmi K80 Pro’s spec sheet.
Poco F7 Pro might be a Redmi K80 in disguise, which uses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. It’s almost as powerful as the Ultra, and rumor has it that the F7 Pro will front a 6.67” 2k 120Hz AMOLED. Redmi Turbo 4 will be launched in China soon, but it might be called Poco F7 in the global markets. The leaks provide limited information, but we might find more details about the lineup closer to launch. So stay tuned for more updates.
