Realme, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, plans to add a new member to its month-old Realme 12 series. While the 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ were recently made official, the Realme 12 Plus has received certification from TENAA just now, hinting at its imminent release soon.

TENAA sheds some light on Realme 12 Plus’ features. The handset abounds with a Qualcomm-made SoC, similar to its siblings. The phone will be available with varying RAM and storage options, offering several choices of 6/8/12/16GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB storage.

The Realme 12 Plus will boast an FHD+ 6.7-inch (1080x2400) AMOLED display, emphasizing a vibrant and immersive display. With dimensions of up to 162.95 x 75.45 x 7.87mm and a weight of 190g, the newcomer will maintain a sleek and lightweight profile.

For photography, the Realme 12 Plus will incorporate a triple-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, a 16MP front-facing camera will exist at the top center of Realme's flagship new mobile.

Powering the device is a robust 4,880 mAh battery, likely marketed as having a typical capacity of 5,000mAh. Moreover, the Realme 12 Plus supports 67W fast charging, which means it will have the capability of quick and efficient top-ups.

Design-wise, the newcomer takes inspiration from its predecessors, the 12 Pro and 12 Pro+, maintaining a cohesive and recognizable family look. Additionally, the phone sports a faux leather back. While the Realme 12 Plus is making its debut in China, there is anticipation for its availability in other markets.
