Realme 12 Series Blazes into Pakistan with Epic Features; Open for Purchase from July 1st

Usama Rasool

No doubt you’ve been hearing about those numbered series newbies ‘Realme 12’ and ‘Realme 12 Plus 5G.’ Well, they have gone official in Pakistan. But you can’t purchase them until July 1st. Their chips, intense hardware, and the sheer number of features, everything about them is terrific. And you’ll explore every one of those things in this brief overview.

Realme 12 Plus 5G

This one is higher up in the chain. That display and CPU may have something to do with it. AMOLED 120Hz at 1080p resolution is the gate to a premium segment. 6.67” screen size with punch hole crop is plenty big for most folks. And it can’t get better than a brightness idle at 600 nits and peaks at 2000 nits.

Android 14 works the internals, and MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G helps it operate. We’re sure it will handle everything you throw at it fine. Then there are 8 GB or 12 GB RAM choices you can go with if you are paranoid about performance. And yes! 256 GB ROM goes with both.

Camera is a department it does well in. There’s one 50 MP first shooter, a Sony LYT-600 OIS. Then you’ll see one with ultrawide and 8 MP resolution. 2 MP is there if you are into closeups. But the true champ is a 16 MP selfie snapper out front.

One 5000mAh power source relays energy everywhere. And the great thing about that is it charges over 67W. You’ll spend less time strung to a wall then. This one will cost around Rs 74,999 when you purchase it (Pioneer Green and Navigator Beige colors).

Realme 12 4G

It’s not the 5G version, so don’t get it confused. The chip inside this one is Snapdragon 685. That gets you nothing more than LTE. But that 6.72” IPS panel size is still something usable. 1080p resolution and 950 nit peak brightness are almost appropriate for the price, but that’s up to your judgment.

Again, Android 14 is the default OS for both of them. And that Snapdragon 685 can handle it fine. But we can tell you it won’t be as smooth. 8 GB RAM is the peak for this one. And it goes without saying. 256 GB storage is the solo option for you there.

A 108 MP first shooter is what it uses for photos. And then, there is a 2 MP depth mapper. We know it has a 5000mAh power source and 45W ability to recharge — all great stuff. But the price may be a little high at Rs 59,999. You’ll see both of these on storefronts after July 1st.
