Realme's current numbered lineup is versatile to the point that it gets confusing. But let us make it simple for you. They started with Realme 13 Pro and 13 Pro Plus, both 5G phones. Then, a vanilla Realme 13 4G launched some weeks ago. Realme 13 5G and 13+ 5G have gone official yesterday, and those two are the focus of this post.
Realme 13+ 5G
It's the superior option, and the name gives it away as such. This one has a 6.67" screen at the front. Plus, the renders make it look premium with super thin bezels. There's a 1080p resolution and the pixels clock at a 120Hz refresh rate. Out of the two, this one is the only AMOLED phone.
They part ways in performance again. Realme 13 Plus 5G is the one they teased with Dimensity 7300 Energy and 750k+ AnTuTu scores. It's a noted 4nm chip and gets a MediaTek NPU 655, Mali-G615, and everything. They keep it cool with a 6050 mm2 stainless steel vapor chamber.
50 MP Sony LYT-600 sensor, though the first lens, helps with photos. We also see an 8 MP ultrawide here. Realme 13 Plus battery is 5000mAh, plus the max charging speed is 80W. The 8/128GB version of this phone costs $275 (~PKR 76,000), but it can go as high as 12/256 GB for $320.
Realme 13 5G
This one ranks below, comes only with an IPS display, but keeps everything upbeat. There's a 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate coming from the 6.72" panel. And yes, the fingerprint reader is on the side, not on the panel like 13 Plus. At least it's IP64 with Smart Water Touch.
5G-ready Dimensity 6300 pulls the hard labor here. 8 GB RAM helps with tasks and background apps. And there are 128 GB or 256 GB ROM options. The cooling chamber here is not as big, only 2249 mm2, but it should get the job done.
We see a 5000mAh battery on both phones, but the Realme 13 5G can only pull 45W from the wall. Still, nothing is different in the camera section, at least on the hardware side. This duo shares a 50 MP primary and 16 MP selfie unit. Realme 13 5G has a starter tag of $215 (~PKR 60,000).
