The Realme 14 series still has a few members left for an official debut. The base Realme 14 5G is one of them. The company recently shared some of its key specifications publicly on social media. There’s now an official launch date, marking this new device for an unveiling in Thailand on March 27th.
Realme Global announced the phone’s official launch date on X and confirmed that the event will be held in Thailand, live on their Social Media pages and YouTube channel between 3 pm and 5 pm local time. Since the brand mentioned “Realme 14 series 5G” in the teaser, we expect more than one device to appear on the stage.
We’ve been anticipating the Realme 14 5G in a light Mecha Design. The official post on X confirmed our suspicion and also showed two secondary colors for this device. A few days ago, Realme also teased some of its key specifications, including the chipset and the battery inside.
From what we’ve learned, this device has Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip onboard. This new platform is pushing it close to Snapdragon 7 series performance, at least in terms of CPU power. There are eight cores and a peak frequency of 2.3 GHz on a 4nm node, which makes it an impressive contender in its segment according to the Realme price catalog.
According to some reports, the SD 6 Gen 4 has gained almost 11% performance uplift over the 6 Gen 3. This new chip is one of the reasons why Realme 14 5G has scored 810k points on AnTuTu in one of the teasers. The other important detail now publicly revealed by the company is the phone’s battery.
Realme 14 5G is being advertised with a “Titan“ 6000mAh power pack under the shell, which supposedly gives you 10.5 hours of non-stop backup while gaming. That’s a bold claim. Realme did, however, add a disclaimer in the teaser, that the battery was tested under ideal conditions in Realme labs, so the real-life performance might vary.
Realme 14 5G is allegedly a rebadged Realme P3 5G with the same design aesthetics and specs. Hence, it’s believed that the phone’s main camera might be a 50 MP unit, and the screen might be a 6.67” flat AMOLED with a 120Hz display. Most of the phone’s specs are still elusive, but we expect to hear more from the company in the upcoming days, so stay tuned.
