No more guessing games for the Realme 14 Pro+ specs. The company has finally made the phone official in China, which means all of its remaining hardware details are now public. This is an interesting handset, and here’s a full coverage of what makes Realme 14 Pro+ so special.
You’ve surely heard about its color-changing design that turns white to blue when the temperature is 16 degrees C or below. This has been the company’s main pitch for Realme 14 Pro Plus, but there was very little to go on to ascertain its true potential. Realme China has now revealed its full spec sheet.
Realme 14 Pro Plus has a massive 6.83” OLED with ultra-thin micro quad-curve bezel, plus, the resolution is 2800 x 1272 px. This screen is well-lit at about 1500 Nits and the Gorilla Glass 7i makes it tough to break. 120Hz refresh rate is also here, so it’s smooth with a 32 MP selfie cam and a fingerprint ID beneath the OLED.
IP68/69 rating is one of its finer qualities which should help it survive dust ingress and even water submersion. That tri-camera rig on the back is actually a dual 50 MP sensor and 8 MP Ultrawide. The Realme new Pro model has a main 50 MP OIS shooter and a similar resolution 50 MP periscope telephoto 3x zoomer for portraits.
The “Magic Glow feature” is something entirely new here. Three LED flashes on the back can add warmer or cooler tones to the shots. Not to forget about its performance, we find Realme 14 Pro+ with Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 with as high as 12 GB RAM.
Its battery capacity is 6000mAh — plenty of juice to last more than a day. Users can recharge it with an 80W brick. The only colorways for this phone are Sea Rock Grey and Gilded White. Realme 14 Pro's base price isn’t expensive, but it isn’t the cheapest either with $355 (~PKR 99,000) for a 12/256GB option.
