Realme’s global rollout for the 14 Pro series has begun today. Before now, only China had welcomed one of the new phones with the Pro+ nametag. We hear the same device is headed to international markets, and a standard Pro model is also breaking cover to join.
Global Realme 14 Pro and 14 Pro Plus have begun deployment in India first, but there’s a good chance that the launch will expand to more regions in a matter of weeks. The good news is that you can acquaint yourself with these handsets, now that they’ve revealed all the specs and designs.
Realme 14 Pro Plus
This one leads the series, as made obvious by the nametag. It has a bigger OLED screen than the non-Plus model, so that’s your first advantage. It is 6.83” with a 1.5k resolution and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The refresh rate is 120Hz and the sampling rate is 240Hz, but the best part is its 1500 nits max brightness level.
14 Pro Plus also has a big enough housing for its battery. It holds a massive 6000mAh cell inside and recharges it at 80W via a superVOOC adapter. Pro+ is also the only sibling with a periscope telephoto 3x 50 MP Sony IMX882 sensor, so if portraits are your priority, this model is the safer bet.
Other cameras here are the usual 50 MP OIS main, 8 MP ultrawide, and 32 MP 5P lens for selfies. Everything on 14 Pro Plus is handled by Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, which we know to be a 2.5GHz chip, more than capable of operating its Android 15 x Realme UI 6 system.
Its dual speakers, in-screen fingerprint, IP69 rating, and cold-reactive design are some other things we love to see here. So, how much do you have to pay for these high-end specs? Realme 14 Pro is priced at $325 (~PKR 90,000) for the base 8/128GB trim.
Realme 14 Pro
The 14 Pro cuts the screen to 6.77”, which is still plenty of room for all kinds of smartphone activities. But the real surprise here is 14 Pro’s max brightness. It’s higher than the Pro+ at 4500nits peak level. And yes, it’s still 120Hz OLED with 100% DCI-P3 Color Gamut and 240Hz sampling rate. This OLED panel is 1080p FHD+.
The same 6000mAh battery is present on the Pro, just as it did with Pro+, but the charging speed is almost cut by half at 45W. It doesn’t have a telephoto, but the main camera is solid at 50 MP with a Sony IMX882 sensor, and OIS support stabilizes the setup. The other rear lens is monochrome, and the front shooter is 16 MP, which is also half the resolution of its Pro+ sibling.
Realme 14 Pro is built around a Dimensity 7300 Ultra chip, which might not compete with the SD 7S Gen 3, but it’s still quite powerful on its own. Under its OLED screen lies a fingerprint reader, the sound is output by two speakers, and this one also changes color in cold. Realme 14 Pro in its base 8/128GB avatar has a price of around $265 (~PKR 73,000).
