Realme keeps dropping teasers for the next Realme 14x before its debut and each time, new information about the phone comes to light. One of the pieces missing from the spec sheet was its SoC, but the company has now revealed what the phone runs under the hood.
Via a teaser on X, it's been officially confirmed that Realme 14x has a Dimensity 6300 entry-level 5G chip at the hull. This SoC can reach 2.4GHz max clock speed with its two main cortex A76 cores, and the remaining six cores can do 2.0GHz.
This also means that Realme 14x has a dedicated Mali G57 MP2 second-generation graphic processor that can handle 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. But 14x will only use a 720p HD+ resolution on its 6.67” IPS LCD (per the rumors).
Other rumors suggest that this Realme's upcoming 5G handset will have at least three storage options: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. These RAM options will pair nicely with the D6300 engine. It’s confirmed via Camera FV-5 certification that the phone has a 50MP back camera and a 16MP selfie camera.
We don’t need to guess the battery specs either. Previous teasers have revealed that Realme 14x can do 45W charging plugged into a 6000mAh cell. IP69 rating will be a major highlight for this one, considering its price tag of around $175 (~PKR 48,000). Realme 14x is only two days away from its debut on December 18th.
