Since Realme launched its low-priced Realme 3, they have successfully set the bar high for competitors and it seems like they intend to continue with the trend. Just a while ago, Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro got launched in India, which actually means they're soon going to hit the Pakistani market with full force.

Realme 5

Coming in with quad rear cameras, the setup consists of a 12MP main + 8MP wide-angle + 2MP macro + 2MP depth sensors while the selfie camera tanks 13MP up on the front, inside the water-drop notch. Realme 5 has a comparatively lower price & hence people may just choose this one for the budgetary reasons. The handset boasts a 6.5-inch notched screen that supports a 720p resolution.

The battery capacity is of 5,000mAh and you'll have to charge it through the micro-USB port which means no fast charging. Powered by the Snapdragon 665 processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, things may seem a little dull here, especially while considering a huge battery without fast charging.

MicroSDSD slot and 3.5mm headphone jack are provided. Realme 5 comes in Crystal Purple or Crystal Blue colors, Priced at just 10,000 Indian rupees, the amount converts to some 22,000 Pakistani rupees. No details over the launch in Pakistan yet but the handset will be available for sale in India starting August 27.

Realme 5 Pro

Realme 5 Pro has a comparatively smaller display, battery, and overall size yet comes with more powerful internals. With a quad rear camera setup, the smartphone has a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens to go to with it. Rest of the setup includes an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro, and another 2MP depth sensor to allow better portrait pictures.

Additionally,  it grabs a 16-megapixels front snapper fixed inside the dew-drop notch for those perfect selfies. Not to mention that the Realme 5 Pro banks a 6.3-inch Full HD+ normal IPS display as opposed to an OLED screen with an in-display fingerprint reader rumored earlier.

Ram or storage-wise we are provided with three options of 4/64GB, 6/64GB, and 8/128GB. Equipped with a 10nm Snapdragon 712 processor under the hood, the phone is powered by a 4035mAh battery that also supports VOOC 3.0 20W fast charging. The price in India begins at INR 13,999 which convert to some 31,500 Pakistani rupees without taxes.

Both the phones, Realme 5 & Realme 5 Pro will be available in several colors, with a diamond-like holographic pattern at the back. The 5 will be sold in purple and blue, whereas the 5 Pro has blue and green variants.

Additional news for the audience is that these phones are shock resistant, in that, they will prevent minor incidents, however, there's no IP rating to support that claim. I guess we'll get to know that soon.
