Realme has knocked off Rs. 2,000 off the Realme 6i. The low-mid-range model was retailing for Rs. 31,999, but you can now pick one up for a pocket-friendlier oppo price tag of just Rs. 29,999. Here's a quick overview of what the 6i offers.
The Realme 6i debuted with the world’s first MediaTek Helio G80 processor — designed with a focus on gaming; this chipset promises up to 35% better performance than previous-gen hardware. The RAM and storage come in two editions: 3GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB — expandable further with a dedicated microSD card slot.
An equally impressive battery powers this setup. Rated 5,000 mAh, the 6i battery can last you 39 days on standby. When you’re running low, plug it in and quickly recharge with the 18W fast charging kit. And the phone boots to the realmeUI built on Android 10.
Coming to the 6i build, you get the classic Realme layout, but in a fresh paint job. The manufacturer uses a spray coating process and polishes the device for a glossy, soft finish, available in Green Tea and White Milk. You’ll also find an aesthetic, barcode-style pattern etched into both versions.
Four cameras are stacked on top each other in the corner, featuring an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 119° FoV, a 48MP primary sensor, a B&W module (which you probably won’t often be using) and a 4cm macro for closeup shots. Right next to the Realme 6i camera housing, there’s a capacitive fingerprint reader for quickly unlocking the device. Capture selfies with the 16MP front camera that uses intelligent AI Beauty Algorithms to put you in the spotlight.
Flip the Realme 6i over, and you’ll be greeted by a 6.5” HD+ screen with a notch carved on top. You get a modern, narrow bezel profile on three sides, coupled with a high 20:9 aspect ratio. The display reaches 89.8% in the screen-to-body ratio and is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
