Realme 7i is Coming to Pakistan Next Week; 90Hz Screen, Powerful Processor, and a Versatile Camera on a Budget

Realme introduced their newest Realme 7 series in Pakistan in early November this year. Realme 7 Pro was the first edition in the lineup to make its debut. Now WhatMobile’s trusted sources have notified that its budget-friendly follow-up, the Realme 7i, is coming next week.

Based on what we’ve learned, the new Realme 7i is launching on December 15. And while it’s globally available in three different memory configurations, only the highest-end 8GB+128GB variant is coming to Pakistan.

In a seemingly endless flood of new budget phones, perhaps the only feature that sets the Realme 7i apart is the smooth 90Hz refresh rate its screen can produce. Plus, it's a current-gen chipset (more on that in a few). The rest of the spec sheet —  or the design for that matter —  is easily predictable.

You get a 6.5” LCD screen with a standard 720P resolution — the low-end resolution takes away from the novelty high refresh rate. The front panel of realme 7i has an O-hole in the corner. The audio output comes from either the generic mono speaker or the onboard 3.5mm headphone jack. Four cameras and a coin-shaped fingerprint scanner are found on the back. It features a recycled boxy camera plate and a plain gradient finish. You can pick from Aurora Green and Polar Blue shades.

A main 64MP wide unit and the other an 8MP wide-angle sensor power the camera array on 7i by Realme. Two extra 2MP lenses pad the camera count. For selfies, you have a 16MP camera.

Realme 7i uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chip that came out earlier this year. It runs on a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The processor is the same as the cheaper POCO M3 that Xiaomi is introducing this week. The M3 features a unique design, 1080P screen, dual stereo speakers, 6000 mAh battery capacity with 18W charging, and 128GB of storage.

But, the Realme 7i has an edge over the M3 in multitasking (thanks to its 8GB of memory compared to 4GB on the POCO phone) and wide-angle photography (a feature the M3 lacks). We expect Realme 7i to start from Rs. 34,999.
