Yesterday, Realme launched its flagship smartphones, the Realme 9 and the 9 5G, in Europe. But since only the Realme 9 is coming to Pakistan, we are going to examine the specs and features of the new Realme 9i sibling in detail.
Realme 9 4G is powered by the latest generation of Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor accompanied by a colossal 8GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X Ram and 128GB of built-in storage. The built-in storage is further expandable with a microSD memory card. The handset features a large 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W Dart Charge.
Realme 9 features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display (2400 × 1080-pixel) supporting a 90 Hz refresh rate and touch detection at 360 Hz. The brightness reaches a peak of up to 1,000 nits. There is display protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and the screen comes with an in-display fingerprint reader with heart rate monitoring support.
At the back, the new 4G Realme mobile features a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor with an f /1.75 aperture. Other rear cameras include an 8-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide-angle with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front shooter is a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor and has an f/2.45 aperture.
Other features of the Realme 9 include two nano-SIM card slots, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, and USB-C and 3.5mm connections. The operating system version is Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 on top. it measures 160.2 x 73.3 x 7.99 mm and weighs about 178 grams.
The Realme 9 is available in three color options: Sunburst Gold, Stargaze White, and Meteor Black. The recommended price for the base Realme 9 6GB/128GB variant in Europe is EUR 279.99. But as the prices in the European market are always on the higher side we expect to cost anywhere between Rs. 44,999 to 49,999 PKR, upon its arrival in Pakistan.
