Realme’s upcoming 9 series, featuring the Realme 9 Pro Plus and 9 Pro, has cleared many public product certifications all over the world. They hint at its nearing launch, but the design of the series was a mystery. At least until now, because a trusted industry source just leaked design schematics of the Realme 9 series.
Courtesy of Steve Hemmerstoffer, also known as @OnLeaks, the leaked sketches showcase the Realme 9 Pro design from three different angles. On the back, we’re looking at a three-lens cluster housed inside a squarish camera bump. The wide-angle shooter here has a custom Sony sensor behind it — presumably 50MP in resolution.
The camera plate sticks out a couple of extra millimeters in the profile view. The frame is soft and rounded, featuring two volume rockers and a power button on opposite sides. At 8.0mm of depth, this casing has an average thickness for a modern smartphone.
Turn the upcoming addition to the realme price catalog over to reveal its 6.43” AMOLED panel. Minimal side bezels and a heavy chin surround this screen. Since there’s no indication of an instant fingerprint scanner, we assume it’s hidden under the display.
A product mockup of the Realme 9 Pro+ based on these schematics gives us a clearer picture. Again, it rocks a boxier aesthetic, seen here in a glossy royal blue finish. The Realme 9 Pro phones are rumored to debut in late February or early March. We’ll keep you posted as the story develops.
