The launch of Realme's upcoming 9 Pro series is just around the corner. The brand has been teasing the release of the Realme 9 Pro and Pro+ for a few days now. And the latest of these promos shows off the health tracking features of the Realme 9 Pro+.
Madhav Sheth, a Realme executive, tweeted a short clip highlighting the heart rate monitor that the Realme 9 Pro Plus features. Of course, it’s a hidden sensor because the in-screen fingerprint scanner also monitors your heartbeat. But note that (unlike most wearables that rock such features) the Realme 9 Pro+ is not certified in any medical capacity.
In this teaser, the screen we’re looking at is a 6.43” AMOLED panel, which peaks at 1080P resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Additionally, we find a hole-punch cutout in the corner for the front-facing camera. This layout perfectly aligns with the many press images that surfaced online.
To recall, the new Plus Realme mobile comes in black, emerald, and blue shades — all three finishes have glossy textures. Three lenses and an LED flash form a cluster on a raised camera rectangle. It’s an array of 50MP OIS-assisted wide, ultra-wide, and macro shooters.
The chip inside the Realme 9 Pro+ is the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G. It’s backed by a 4500 mAh battery and 65W charging support. Lastly, Android 12 x realmeUI 3.0 powers the phone. We’ll learn more when the Realme 9 Pro drops on February 15.
