Get excited; Realme is about to unveil a 5G sibling to their cost-effective Realme 9i. The brand recently posted a tweet teasing their new project, Realme 9i 5g. The tweet features a banner with the slogan "The 5g Rockstar" written in a bold and prominent font.
Owing to the teaser, we now have an official marketing image of the phone and a few key specifications that we are about to cover in this story.
Realme 9i 4G launched with a Snapdragon 680 inside. Newcomer, Realme 9i 5G's implanted with Dimesnity 810 5g processor — a power-efficient SoC based on 6nm fabrication technology. Per the official sources, the chipset performs 20% faster than dimensity 700 and benchmarks with over 350,000 AnTuTu scores.
Realme 9i 5G's design language seems very distinguished from their previous models. It features a minimalistic uni-color design and Rounded flat edges. The back of the phone jet rays of light from the camera lens to the phone's edges. Realme is calling it "Laser Light Design." The phone will probably come out in three colors Black, Blue, and Gold.
You can expect a 6.6-inch IPS panel upfront. The new 5G Realme mobile will have an FHD+ 1080p resolution. The official reports for display protection will come around soon enough as the launch closes.
There's a three-way camera design on the back. All three cameras extrude directly out of the frame. No official sources to confirm the camera specs yet, but the 9i 5G's rumored to have 50MP (wide), 2MP (macro), and 2MP (depth) sensors. A 16MP sensor act as the selfie camera here.
The base variant of this phone will have 4GB memory paired with 64GB storage. It has a side-facing fingerprint scanner that doubles as a power key. It comes with a massive 5000 mAh cell built-in and fast charging support. Per the official report, the company plans to launch this phone on August 18th.
