Realme's latest 9-series lineup has debuted only three (out of six total) devices in Pakistan, the Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro Plus, and Realme 9. The standard 4G Realme 9i is one of the brand's more reasonable models. The feature pack is excellent for the price you are paying. Due to dollar hikes in Pakistan, all realme handsets & gadgets have suffered some nasty price bumps.

Realme 9i made its first debut in Pakistan in February with a base price of Rs. 42,999. The last known price of this phone, confirmed by multiple vendors, was around Rs. 45000, putting its rival handsets on a pedestal over cost. To win the market over, Realme is knocking off Rs. 2000 on its latest retail. The phone now costs only Rs. 43000.

With the features it packs and the discounted cost, Realme 9i can become the next best choice for your daily driver. Here's an outline of this phone's contents.

For starters, its display is a flat 6.66-inch size with Dragontrail protection. Realme's latest mobile peaks at 1080p/FHD+ resolution with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Being an IPS screen, its brightness level is typical 480 nits. The screen has a dead pixel punch hole in the top left corner sitting a 16MP selfie snapper inside it.

The engine under Realme 9i's hood is Qualcomm's 4G Snapdragon 680 chipset hooked up to a beefy 5000mAh cell with the added benefit of 33W Fast charging.

For the Realme 9i minimal price, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is a nice touch. Cameras are decent, too, with a triple sensor layout rocking a 50MP primary shooter. The phone can record 1080p videos up to 30FPS. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack on the frame alongside a Type-C port to charge the phone.

Realme 9i is not the only one getting a price knockdown. The company has slashed the Realme 9 Pro Plus's price from Rs 83,000 to 80,000, and the Realme 9 8GB/128GB variant's price switched from Rs. 65,000 to 62,000, making these devices more accessible to customers.
