C series by Realme outfits the brand’s most affordable handsets like the recent Realme mobile C35. Last year, the series produced three entry-price daily drivers dubbed C25, C25s, and C25Y, all of which are available in Pakistan. Of the three, The C25Y, which the brand advertises as the Ultimate All-rounder, is reinitiating sales with a slashed price tag (Limited time).
In line with Realme Pakistan’s tweet yesterday, instead of Rs 30,999, the Realme C25Y (4+64GB) will be sold at Rs 28,999 for a limited time. The discounted price makes the phone even more appealing. This option is for you if you want a cheap yet reliable handset. Here’s a brief rundown of its specifications.
As far as the design goes, it has a typical form factor, with a back-mounted fingerprint scanner, chamfered frame, V-notch at the top-center, and a small camera housing at the phone’s top-left back. However, things get interesting when it comes to hardware details.
The camera system on Realme's latest budget model features a 50MP wide f/1.8 lens, a 2MP B&W camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The front camera embedded in the display is 8M, and the whole system shoots in SuperNight, HDR mode photos. This kind of camera assortment rarely exists within this price bracket.
Flip the Realme C25Y over to reveal its 6.5” IPS LCD. It’s a 720P screen with 420 nits of brightness and a poor contrast ratio. The heavy bezels limit the screen-to-body ratio to only 88.7%. The frame includes a 3.5mm audio jack, a micro-USB port, and a hybrid card slot.
With a powerful 5000 mAh battery, the Realme C25Y stands by for up to 48 days on a single charge. Inside the box, you will find an 18W charging brick. The chip at the phone’s heart is from Unisoc’s Tiger series model T610 and runs Android 11 OS by default.
