Realme’s first release for 2020 -- the Realme C3s, has already been certified by Thailand’s NBTC, but the phone is now nearing its launch since it has been signed off by FCC. As is customary, the FCC listing comes with a partial spec sheet and a few key design details.
Bearing the model number RMX2020, you’re looking at the layout of the upcoming Realme C3s published with the listing, showcasing a fingerprint reader mounted on the rear panel, alongside a camera bump embedded in the top left corner.
The schematic doesn’t reveal the number of camera modules inside the bump, but if we had to make an educated guess, we’d say it could be housing three lenses, including the LED flash. The secondary lenses are most likely a wide-angle shooter combined with either depth or macro sensors.
The layout points to a budget-friendly design (as was the case with the Realme C2s which was introduced in Thailand last year), and the listing doesn’t specify any other key details, but it does confirm that the Realme C3s will rock Android-10-based ColorOS 7.
The upcoming C3S phone by Realme will also carry dual-sim support as evidenced by the two IMEI codes spotted in the Federal Communications Commission's listing.
Recall that the previous NBTC certification didn’t confirm any specifications either, so the pertinent details remain thin on the ground. The Realme C3s is expected to be a budget variant of the Realme C3, which has also been certified by Singapore’s IMDA. But so far, the brand has done a great job of keeping it all under wraps, including the expected realme price.
