The brand will soon air the long-rumored handset, the Realme C55, replacing the chain's well-sold C35 from last year. The newcomer should unveil globally, as hinted by various international certifications it has received in the past month. The latest break further corroborates its release plan.
We've tracked Realme C55 on multiple certifications, namely, NBTC, BIS, FCC, and EEC. All indicated a nearing launch in their respective regions. Now, they have introduced the device to SIRIM, the Malaysian certifier. The phone popped up in their document under the same model number as before, RMX3710.
There's not much to disclose here; the file has the model number but no additional details about the phone's specs. FCC had minor details about the device in their document, giving away charger details, charger speeds, battery capacity, and more.
FCC highlighted that Realme C55 carries a 4880mAh battery under the hood. It lists the battery model as "BLP875." FCC also indicates that the phone will sport up to 33W fast charging. A type-C port seems imminent on the Realme C latest model. The internet has some vague intel about the device; however, nothing evidence-backed has surfaced yet.
C55 will rise from the budget segment. Users should not expect significant upgrades; the phone will inherit most of the features from the C35. Sporting a 6.6-inch IPS screen, the forerunner scaled the display resolution to 1080p. Towards the back, it carries a 50MP alpha unit doubled with auxiliary units; 2 MP macro and 0.3 MP depth.
Under the screen's notch, it had 8MP selfie snapper. It performed okay, using 4GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a Unisoc T616 chip. Encased inside was a 5000mAh cell rechargeable with up to 33W input. Expect C55 to have somewhat identical hardware. Realme's new C35 price in Pakistan is around Rs. 60,000.
