Realme C75 was a big hit in our market. It launched in a very few markets and luckily, Pakistan was one of them. We hear now that the company is planning to announce a slightly tweaked version of the same model and call it Realme C75x. This handset will drop in the Malaysian market soon, as we recently saw it on SIRIM’s certification database.
SIRIM is Malaysia’s regulatory body, and Realme C75x was found on the platform’s directory, indexed as RMX5020. It’s green-lit by the authority for an imminent release in the country, but there’s also a chance that it will debut in more international markets afterward.
There’s more news on the topic, still. Realme C75x was leaked recently with a promotional poster, which gave away multiple details and specifications vis-à-vis the internals, display, durability, battery, and color options. Here’s what we found.
The design you see on the poster is borrowed from the original C75. Flat chassis and a triple silo design on the back with a punch hole display. With the Realme smartphone price often being competitive, It will either give you a Coral Pink option or an Oceanic Blue choice, as far as the design is concerned.
That leaked poster showed a 120Hz refresh rate for C75x’s screen and it might be the first tweak over the C75’s 90Hz FHD+ display. It looks the same, so we won’t be surprised if the display size is kept the same as before at 6.72” with the punch hole driving an 8 MP selfie camera.
IP69 rating is another feature both devices share, and it still impresses us to see top-of-the-line durability on an entry-level device. This phone will still bring military-grade shock resistance. We don’t see any SoC details here, but the storage and RAM are mentioned front and center. Realme C75x will show up with 24 GB memory, 8GB of which is physical onboard RAM, and 16GB is expanded virtually. The ROM is 128GB, which is plenty for an average user.
While its too early to brag about the C75x's retail, the old Realme C75 price is quite pocket friendly. Also, the C75 offers a 6000mAh cell, whereas the new X variant cuts it further down to 5600mAh and no charging details have been revealed yet. With the Malaysian launch closing in, more details are bound to emerge. We’ll try and keep you posted as we go.
