Realme C75x Teased in Pakistan; Concerns Mount Over Outdated Specs & Bloated Price

Realme C75x will arrive in Pakistan shortly. Following our previous coverage about the device’s expected launch and price tag, the company has now officially announced that it’s bringing the newcomer to our market with a “Coming Soon” post. A teaser was dropped on the local Facebook page, confirming the phone’s Coral Pink shade.

People’s response to this device has been less than kind. As we already predicted in our previous report, Realme C75x’s lackluster specifications might face a backlash with the expected price tag between Rs 40,000 and 45,000. Fans on Facebook are already showing concerns about the device’s terrible value proposition in the comments section.

The official teaser on Facebook confirms Realme C75x’s upcoming debut in Pakistan and drops a hint about the Pink color option. But, there are no other details revealed yet. Since the model set to arrive in Pakistan is the same as the global variant, we already have its specifications in case you need a reference.

It’s obvious that this Realme latest 4G model is geared toward durability, but the specs that matter the most are less than impressive. The display, for starters, has a very disappointing typical brightness level at 500 nits, which will make the readability difficult under the sun or in well-lit conditions.

Also, the display is only 720p HD+ resolution, which does not justify the phone’s expected price tag. The Realme C75x has a punch hole cutout on top, but only with a 5 MP selfie camera, which is dubbed “absolutely useless” by reviewers and getting a backlash over on Facebook as well.

You can consider this “X” variant a cut-back version of the original Realme C75. Yes, the phone has the latest Android 15 OS with Realme UI 6, but the outdated chipset will pose a challenge to the user experience. Helio G81 Ultra SoC is quite underpowered and could struggle even with the basic tasks, forget gaming and intensive multitasking.

There’s no UFS storage here. That SoC only allows eMMC 5.1 storage with slow read/write speeds, so expect longer app opening durations and slow data transfers here. Some features may seem impressive, like the 50MP main camera and 16 GB RAM, but the images lack quality, and the virtually added 8 GB RAM is a gimmick since it doesn’t have any real performance value.

This phone is expected to cost around PKR 40k to 45k, and that’s exactly where the problem lies. People are understandably angry with one Facebook user saying, “Outdated chipset, 720p IPS display, and 5MP front camera with a price tag of 40K+. Realme is just releasing garbage.” Another commenter under the teaser called the Realme C-series “third class” (translated from Urdu).

All of this puts Realme C75x in a precarious position, and we are looking forward to seeing how Realme addresses public concerns. Stay tuned for the phone’s launch in the upcoming days to know its exact price and storage options soon.
