Realme GT 6 Launched in China with New Design, Bigger Battery, and Snapdragon 8 Gen3

Realme GT 6 debuts in China. But it’s not the same as the international variant. This one outraces the original in many ways. We believe it’s following the meta of a true flagship, not just a semi-premium phone. That’s why everything is bleeding edge here. And they redid its design to make the fact more obvious.

A flat build was the first apparent change we noticed. That non-curve 6.78” AMOLED is from BOE. And it’s 8T LTPO (variable refresh rate) 120Hz and does up to 6000 nits brightness. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is what shields the front panel. And they went with a 1.5K resolution. It can’t get better than this.

Then, there were other flagship parameters. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 holds down the fort, and it’s the best Android chipset to offer right now. We know that it’s far more superior than the 8s Gen 3 from the original one. Clock speeds are higher, GPU is better, even the modem. Need we go on?

Realme future's flagship mobile can go as high as 1 TB of storage. And that will come paired with 16 GB RAM. And it’s not any storage and RAM. LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 are the fastest to have on any Android. Speaking of that, Android 14 is the OS here, and Realme’s custom 5.0 UI.

Those battery stats are even more bold. They made GT 6 flat, so there was more room to fit a 5800 mAh cell here. 120W charging is an absolute winner for it because of that hefty battery. And, of course, it has all the perks of an IP65 rating.

50 MP IMX890 sensor with OIS for the first camera, 8 MP ultrawide, and 16 MP selfie sensor will do a fine job for everyday users, if not for the Pros. But it’s all fair game for Realme GT 6’s starter price of CNY 2,799 (~PKR 107,000) for 12/256GB.
