Realme GT 7 Pro to Unveil This Month with Latest Snapdragon & Periscope Camera

Realme GT 7 Pro is getting close to the finish line as leaks start to pick up the pace, and now, there’s even a teaser from Realme itself of a launch set in October. Even this brand’s Vice President Xu Qi Chase dropped a few details about this phone on his Weibo profile.

Xu Chase has claimed through his Weibo post that the GT 7 Pro should be a fast and high-end mobile camera phone, and it won’t compromise one thing for the other. There will be a Snapdragon chipset on it and possibly, it will get a periscope telephoto like some other flagships.

Of course, the main reason why they haven’t launched this phone yet has something to do with the Qualcomm summit in Hawaii. That’s the event where their Snapdragon 8 fourth-gen chip will make its first debut, and it’s happening around October 21st.

It would seem that Realme's latest GT phone wants to be one of the earliest adopters of the SD 8 Gen 4 and if we look at the GT family’s price history, it may also be the cheapest one. Xu Chase didn’t paint the full picture when he said periscope camera, but there was an early report with some details.

DCS pointed out that the Sony IMX882 50 MP telephoto periscope shooter on the Realme GT 7 Pro is the best and the closest guess thus far. This 3x zoomer will probably have hybrid magnification, so it should zoom and even magnify for close-up photos.
