Realme GT 7 Pro and GT Neo 7 already debuted last year, but the vanilla Realme GT 7 is still in development. We bring some good news on that front today. The phone was recently found on the Geekbench database, which means the launch might be just around the corner.

Geekbench revealed some interesting details about the vanilla GT 7, but the most important one is the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Realme seems to have used the best Android chip in the market for the Realme GT 7. The same chip was brought to the market by its GT 7 Pro variant back in November.

RMX5090 is the model code assigned to the vanilla model and Geekbench exposed its SoC with 8-core architecture and 4.32GHz clock speed. So far, there’s only one chip in the market with such a high clock frequency on a mobile platform.

GT lineup is supposed to represent the company’s gaming enthusiast devices, and the Realme latest flagship model will achieve that goal without any problem in part thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Another piece of the puzzle is its 16 GB RAM capacity, which you can see in the memory information category on this screen grab.

GT 7 will also bag the new Android 15 system, possibly using the Realme UI 6. TENAA certification in China confirmed some of the specs earlier and exposed the same model number RMX5090, followed by the title Realme GT 7. The documentation showed a 120W input for this device.

Its charging speed wasn’t the only thing TENAA spilled. There were details about the display, SoC, and possible storage options for this particular model. From what we’ve gathered, it seems to mirror the GT 7 Pro in most categories, like its 6.78” AMOLED with a 1.5k resolution.

TENAA mentioned the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC again, with possible 8GB, 12GB, 16GB, and 24GB RAM options. The storage might peak at up to 1TB. Even the renders in the TENAA file showed GT 7’s design mimicking the GT 7 Pro, apart from the dual camera unit, instead of a three-lens setup on the Pro. It seems to miss the telephoto lens. We’ll eventually know more about the new successor to the Realme GT 6 as we draw closer to launch, so stay tuned for future updates.
