Realme GT 5G is the brand’s latest flagship phone after the recently launched Realme 8 Pro. The GT 5G came out in March this year, and it’s now lined up for an international launch. It’ll first hit the European market; we have the pricing, color, and storage options to report.
Sudhanshu Ambhore, an Indian phone leaker, was the first to tweet the details. The Realme GT will be making its global debut later this month in 8GB+128GB and 128GB+256GB memory/storage configurations. The base edition starts from €400 (~ Rs. 75,700), while the top-end variant goes for upwards of €450 (~ Rs. 85,000.)
Both Oppo and Realme have been offering faux leather editions for their premium phones, and the Realme GT is no different. Its so-called Vegan Leather is finished in deep yellow color with a racing stripe stretching down from the camera island. There’s also a glass shell version, painted in a sunburst blue and black palette.
As for the specifics, the Realme GT has the Snapdragon 888 — a cutting-edge 5nm flagship chip from Qualcomm — at its heart. the new Realme mobile phone is powered by a 4500 mAh that fast-charges over 65W. Realme promises a full charge in 35 minutes.
A 3D liquid cooling system keeps the phone from heating up. The memory uses the UFS 3.1 storage standard and LPDDR5 RAM. Android11-based RealmeUI 2 runs on the phone straight out of the box.
The display is a 6.43” SuperAMOLED panel that delivers a full HD resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Realme GT also has a fingerprint scanner built into the screen. A hole-punch cutout in this display contains a 16MP selfie camera. On the back, Realme GT features a 64MP wide camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
