GT Neo 2 is an upcoming performance phone slated to launch on September 22. The Realme GT Master's new sibling make its debut in China, but a global release is also in the cards. Realme has already been teasing the GT Neo 2 features. And the string of promos continues with a poster detailing the Neo 2 camera system.
Three lenses and two LED flashes are laid out on a raised platform. The camera matrix uses a 64MP wide camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
The Realme GT Neo 2 shell is seemingly crafted from glass, toughened with Gorilla Glass, and accented with a ‘Dare to Leap’ branded racing stripe. We find a 16MP front camera housed inside a hole punch in the screen. It’s a 6.62” AMOLED panel that delivers a 120Hz refresh rate and a crisp 1080P resolution. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 powers this entire setup.
Reportedly, the GT Neo 2 is offered in two chipset variants. The edition with MediaTek silicon (the Dimensity 1200, to be specific) features a smaller 6.43” OLED screen. With Realme's new model for 2021, You get 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage (512GB in the case of the Qualcomm option.)
The Qualcomm edition runs on a 5000 mAh battery, and the MediaTek version packs a 4500 mAh battery. But both phones charge over the cutting-edge 65W DARTCharge technology. The MediaTek version allegedly starts at 2,000 Yuan (~ Rs. 52,200), and the Snapdragon edition is priced at 2,500 Yuan (~ Rs. 65,000.)
