Realme GT Neo 7 Tipped as a Pure-Flagship Device with Snapdragon 8 Series Chip

Their GT Neo phones are cut-down versions of standard GT. GT Neo 6 by Realme came out as a flagship gaming model back in May and it was way underpriced for the kind of specs it brought, so it left an unforgettable mark for us. Will GT Neo 7 continue that legacy? Rumors point to yes!

GT Neo 6 had a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and if you know how Qualcomm does things, this chip was a sub-flagship version of 8 Gen 3. There’s also an overclocked version of the same chip, that they might use in the next Realme GT Neo 7.

Smart Pikachu touched on the topic in his new leak on Weibo and the leaker points out how GT Neo 7 has been accelerated and may be due for a launch by the end of 2025. Plus, if it’s anything like the Neo 6, it will be the cheapest ever phone with a tweaked higher-clock Snapdragon 8 Gen3.

There was also a claim in Pikachu’s leak that the Realme new GT model is a phone with a flat panel, and because they treat their GTs as gaming phones, that seems more than fair. It’s a 1.5k resolution panel, probably the same pixel count as GT Neo 6’s LTPO 120Hz AMOLED.

100W wired charging may be a downgrade this time with Realme GT Neo 7, but only if this leak pans out. GT Neo 6 had 120W charging, and the 5500mAh battery was easily filled to 50% in 10 minutes. There was no other detail present in this leak about GT Neo 7.
