The pure GT and GT Neo lineups by Realme are easy to mix up, and if history has taught us anything is that unclear naming conventions are always bad for business. Realme has decided that they want to separate the Neo series for standalone ‘mid-range esports flagship’ handsets.
They will no longer use the words ‘GT’ with their Neo devices and market them as mid-range flagships moving on. GT lineup, on the other hand, is already established among us enthusiasts as a pure performance flagship lineup. And these are Xu Qi Chase’s official words from Weibo.
For all Neo phones ahead, the main priorities will be cross-level performance, trendy designs, and leading gaming experiences, and Realme Neo 7 will be the first device from this separate line of handsets. Xu Qi’s previous announcement said the phone will be out next week.
We assume that the launch is sometime in the initial days of December. This Neo 7 phone will be the first Realme with a 7000mAh battery, and Digital Chat Station speculates that the chipset running inside it is MediaTek’s top-end Dimensity 9300+.

The leaked image by DCS shows an AnTuTu score of about 2.4 million for a handset named Neo 7. This chip goes toe-to-toe with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in performance and efficiency, so if they position it in the mid-range segment, Neo 7 will demolish its competition.
