Realme has quietly introduced a new entry-level device, the Realme Note 50, in the Philippines, marking the company's venture into the Note-branded lineup. The newcomer packs some meaty specs for its price, including a vibrant 90Hz display, the power of a Unisoc chip, a hefty battery, and an effortlessly slim design.

From the front side, the Realme Note 50 boasts a spacious 6.74-inch IPS LCD panel, delivering an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The display further enhances the smoothness with a 90Hz refresh rate, a responsive 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a pixel density of 260ppi.

The device embraces a sleek design, measuring a mere 7.99mm in thickness and weighing 186 grams, all while sporting an IP54-rated dust and water-resistant chassis. Security features on Note 50 include a convenient side-facing fingerprint scanner and face unlock mode.

The Realme budget new model runs on Realme UI T-based Android 13 Go, a lightweight and scaled-down version of the Android 13 x Realme UI 4.0. Under the hood, the Note 50 houses the Unisoc T612 chip, following 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Energizing the Realme Note 50 is a substantial 5,000mAh battery, complemented by 10W charging support through the USB-C port. Additionally, the Note 50 comes with a microSD card slot for those seeking extra storage.

The phone’s 13MP primary camera is handy for casual photography, complemented by a monochrome sensor and an LED flash. On the front, a 5MP camera takes the spotlight for selfies and video calls.

The device encompasses essential features like dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB-C port, and a cherished 3.5mm audio jack. In all appearance, the Realme Note 50 seems to be a refined version of the Realme C51. Featuring Midnight Black and Sky Blue color options, the phone costs as low as PHP 3,599 (~ PKR 18,000) in the Philippines.
