While the Realme 9 Pro Plus is set to land in Pakistan in 3 days. the brand is also rolling out a new Q-series phone globally. The upcoming Realme Q5 Pro is slated for release in China soon. Early previews give us a peek into the phone’s features and design. The Q5 Pro falls into the so-called ‘flagship-killer’ category based on these details. We’ll briefly review the benchmarks and system specs.
Let’s start with the core hardware inside the Realme Q5 Pro. Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 is the engine powering this phone. It’s an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865+, hooked up to 8GB of memory and 512GB of internal storage. Realme UI 3 x Android 12 runs on the device.
You can find the Realme Q5 Pro benchmarks on Geekbench. It is listed under the model name ‘RMX3372’ When running single-core tests, the phone hits 998 points and manages 3148 on multi-core tests. Everything runs on a beefy 5000 mAh battery that charges over 80W DARTCharge technology.
The Q5 Pro has a chamfered casing finished in a racing checkered flag design from the previews. It comes in at least one bright yellow color at a high-end Realme price point. We find a single hole punched into the display with thin, narrow bezels all around. It’s a 6.62” AMOLED screen with a 1080P resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 16MP front camera.
Lastly, the rear camera cluster features 64MP f/1.8 wide, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro shooters. The Realme Q5 Pro will be followed by the Realme Q5i soon. It’s a more budget-friendly edition rocking a 1080P LCD and Dimensity 810 chip.
