Realme V60 Pro Breaks Cover with IP69 Rating, 120Hz IPS, and MTK’s Dimensity 6300

Realme C75 took a big leap this year with a far more capable screen than the last generation and a faster SoC. Now, they’ve launched a phone called Realme V60 Pro that seems to mimic the former by design, but it has an even quicker display and a 5G-capable Dimensity 6300 chip.

Realme V60 Pro has come out in China and we hear that the phone’s screen refreshes at a 120Hz refresh rate instead of 90, though it steps the resolution down to 720p HD+. It’s an IPS display with a 6.67” diagonal measurement, and the dot-notch you see up front is populated with an 8MP selfie snapper.

Of course, they position it as an entry-level 5G phone, so what could be a better choice than to install a Dimensity 6300 chip inside with up to 12 GB RAM? This is an 8-core 2.4GHz SoC with a second-generation Mali G57 GPU. That means the phone can easily do light gaming at 60 frames a second.

Like the C75, this one also boots up to a dated Android 14 x Realme UI 5.0 OS, and there’s no information on whether the new Realme budget phone will receive the Android 15 update. And about those rear cameras: they’ve installed a 50MP primary shooter in one of the lenses, while the other sensor remains a mystery.

V60 Pro is also an IP69-rated handset, which means it will be safe from pressured water jets and dust, though nothing can be said about water submersion. A 5600mAh battery wired to a 45W charging kit should give people a reasonable screen-on time. Realme V60 Pro’s basic 12/256GB memory trim costs CNY 1,599 (~PKR 61,000).
