Realme GT Neo is a flagship phone that launched in China in spring this year. And it just made its global debut as Realme X7 Max 5G. This edition offers a top-end chip, a stunning display, and super-fast storage and charging — all for a pocket-friendly price.
Unlike an Helio G95 as in the recent Realme 8, the Dimensity 1200 5G is at the heart of X7 Max. This mobile platform, built on a 6nm fabrication process, is the highest-end chip MediaTek makes. You get dual 5G connectivity, 256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage, and 12GB of memory.
Realme X7 Max 5G is backed up by a 4500 mAh battery. 50W SuperDART charge powers the phone, delivering a 50% charge in just 16 minutes. The stainless steel vapor chamber system reduces the core temperature by 15 degrees. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack and NFC chip built into the phone.
The gaming experience is made immersive with the responsive screen, a 3D tactile vibration motor, and dual speakers. We’re looking at a 6.43” SuperAMOLED display with a hole-punch and 91.7% screen-to-body ratio.
The new edition features a full HD resolution at a flagship Realme mobile price, 120Hz refresh rate, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. An under-display fingerprint scanner is integrated into this panel. The speakers are Dolby Atmos, certified by Hi-Res audio.
The shell has yet another generic duotone finish, featuring glossy and matte textures. X7 Max is 8.4mm deep and weighs 179g. Realme’s branding stamped on the glossy strip is flashier than usual. You can pick from Mercury Silver, Asteroid Black, and Milkyway colorways.
For optics, the X7 Max uses a 64 MP f/1.8 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 16MP in-display selfie camera. The array can shoot in portrait, super night, HDR, and time-lapse modes. It starts from ~ Rs. 57,000.
