Following their global debut, the Redmi Note 10 series is headed for Pakistan. Based on the announcements Xiaomi Pakistan has made, the series is launching in Pakistan on March 10. You can catch the event on Xiaomi Pakistan or Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube page.

The Redmi Note 10 lineup features three editions: Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. Xiaomi has revamped their budget series this year by introducing a host of much-needed upgrades in this class.

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max

We’ll start with the top-end edition. The Pro Max features a 6.67” SuperAMOLED screen that peaks at a full HD resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and 1200 nits of brightness.

There’s a tiny hole-punch cutout for the 16MP front camera, while the screen is surrounded in an even bezel. It also carries HDR10 support for superior color reproduction and is toughened with Gorilla Glass 5. As the specs would tell us, it is very much a flagship-grade screen.

The camera setup features a 108MP Samsung-made sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP tele-macro lens with 2x zoom, and a 2MP depth sensor. Xiaomi’s latest image processing software augments the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max hardware.

Qualcomm's Snapdragon 732G and a 5020 mAh battery power the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. You get 6GB/8GB of memory and 64GB/128GB of storage, expandable with a microSD card. There’s an IR Blaster, dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance. Lastly, the device charges over 33W and comes in Dark Night, Vintage Bronze, and Glacial Blue colors.

The base variant starts from $261 or about Rs. 41,000, (without taxes) and goes up to $302 (around Rs. 47,500 without taxes) for the highest-end configuration.

Redmi Note 10 Pro

The Redmi Note 10 Pro has a SuperAMOLED screen identical to that of the Pro Max version, both in dimensions and specifications. It is also powered by the same Snapdragon 732G chip, 5020 mAh battery, and 33W fast charging.

In a similar vein, the improved haptics, Hi-Res certified stereo speakers, and an IP53 rating are also available in the Note 10 Pro. The only salient difference is the primary sensor in its camera array: it’s replaced with a 64MP Samsung-made image sensor. The 8MP wide-angle, 5MP telemacro and 2MP depth sensors are shared between the two models.

The pro variant has always been the most consistent out of the lot in terms of being the top seller but a lot of that has to do with the pricing strategy.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro starts from $220 (~ Rs. 34,600 without taxes) and its top-end 8GB+128GB version is expected to cost $261 or about Rs. 41,000 PKR without taxes.

Redmi Note 10

Finally, we come to the long-anticipated Redmi Note 10. Like the other two models, the Note 10 is also the first in its line to feature a 6.43” SuperAMOLED screen. But despite its 1080P resolution and 1100 nits of peak brightness, it operates on a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It’s protected with Gorilla Glass 3 and an IP53 rating against dust and splashes.

Plus, you get dual stereo support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, an infrared port, and 33W fast charging (advertised to charge your device fully in a little over an hour.)

The Note 10 camera system also features four units. The primary camera uses Sony’s IMX582 sensor, joined by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a pair of 2MP sensors for capturing depth information and macro shots.

Snapdragon 678, one of Qualcomm’s lesser-known chips, and a 5000 mAh battery are at the heart of the Redmi Note 10. It runs on the latest MIUI 12 out of the box. You can pick from Shadow Black, Frost White, and Aqua Green colors.

The 4GB/64GB version of the Redmi Note is expected to start at $165 (~ Rs. 25,900 without taxes), while the 6GB/128GB variant would be priced around $192 or Rs. 30,000 PKR (without taxes.)
