Xiaomi's Redmi Note 9 series came out earlier in the summer this year, and Xiaomi has plans to refresh it soon. The Redmi Note 10 has been leaked already and more leaks keep pouring in. A credible phone leaker reports that the upcoming phone will have a 108MP camera.
Xiaomi was first-to-market with the incredibly high-res 108MP camera, featured in last year’s Mi 10. The camera will be making a return with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 but this model won’t be a premium flagship.
The leak specifies the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G for the new Redmi Note. The SoC is designed for gaming and has a 5G modem baked into it. The display is still LCD and has a centered hole-punch. And if the industry trend of high refresh rates is any guide, we might see a refresh rate upgrade too.
A previous leak also gave us an early preview of the Redmi Note 10 series, revealing a new design. The centered camera plate now has a chrome ring accenting it. Xiaomi will be splitting the series into multiple editions, including a budget-friendlier option.
It runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 720 processor. The sub-flagship chip also features 5G, so we speculate the new series might have 5G across the board.
This Redmi Note 10 variant has three cameras and an LED flash inside it — the main one, presumably 48MP. Unlike the optics, the battery performance might not be as robust. The 5020 mAh battery has been trimmed down to 4800 mAh and it charges 33W.
