Following the debut of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series in Pakistan at a recent event, The brand is readying to introduce another edition. The Redmi Note 10S is slated to launch here in the coming weeks, sources told WhatMobile.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S is a mildly tweaked Redmi Note 10 with a different chipset and camera. But it’s just as aggressively priced and offers the range of new high-end features Xiaomi has introduced in this budget series.
We’re looking at the same build as the Redmi Note 10S, except with the MediaTek Helio G95 at its heart. It’s hooked up to a 5000 mAh battery that fast charges over 33W. Plus, the latest Android11-based MIUI 12 powers the phone.
New Xiaomi mobiles are in popular demand due to the feature-rich specs and the same comes true for upcoming 10s. Out on the front, there is a 6.43” AMOLED screen, surrounded by a slim, even bezel. This panel has a hole-punch cutout to house the front camera, a full HD resolution, and 1100 nits of peak brightness. Redmi Note 10S also gets an IP53 dust and water protection rating, not to mention Gorilla Glass 3 toughness.
Aside from the OLED screen and the IP rating, the Note 10S features dual stereo speakers, an IR Blaster, NFC support, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. It comes in Ocean Blue, Onyx Gray, and Pebble White.
The 48MP camera in the standard Redmi Note 10 gives way to a 64MP sensor with an f/1.8 wide lens in front of it. One 8MP 118˚ wide-angle camera and two 2MP macro and depth sensors round off this array. Selfies are taken with a 13MP camera with a narrow f/2.5 aperture.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S is expected to arrive in 6GB/8GB memory and 64GB/128GB storage editions. It could cost anywhere between Rs. 28000 and Rs. 35,000, depending upon the RAM and storage configuration.
