A few weeks ago, Xiaomi dropped the Redmi Note 12 catalog in Europe. The roll-out began in the Western European market and has gradually expanded to the far corners of the old continent. The expansion seems to have reached its imminent end in the region. It marks the dawn of a launch spree in the remaining countries.
For those unaware, Xiaomi's latest mid-range spawns include Redmi Note 12, Note 12 4G, Note 12 Pro 5G, and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G. Note 12 Pro 4G is also a part of the roster, but it hasn't left Indonesia yet. Here are briefs on all the Note handsets with their prices.
Starting at the bottom of the ladder, we have Redmi Note 12 4G, which packs an AMOLED 120Hz panel at 6.67 inches. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chip resides inside, wired to a 4-8GB memory hub. With a 50MP camera on the back and a 13MP shooter on screen, it starts at a delightful cost of ~216 Euros (~68,000 PKR).
Moving on to its 5G counterpart, Note 12 5G, the phone has an identical screen plus build; however, the SoC mounted inside is Snapdragon 4 Gen 1. They also share battery stats (5000mAh + 33W) and storage configurations. The primary camera drops to 48MP, though the selfie shooter remains the same. It starts at ~296 Euros (~PKR 93,000) for the same 4+128GB option. The Xiaomi rate list shows that their latest model is priced competitively.
The third in line is the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G. It has an OLED panel baked into the chassis boasting a 6.67-inch size, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1B colors. Under the fancy screen runs a Dimensity 1080 engine wired to a minimum of 6+128GB memory bit. Moreover, the phone has a 50MP primary rear camera. The variant stated here costs ~377 Euros (~PKR 118,000).
The minimum memory configuration for the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5G is 6+128GB, with a price tag of ~457 Euros (~PKR 143,000). With that exceeding cost, users can avail of Xiaomi's one-of-a-kind 200MP camera. While the basic Pro variant has an uncommon 67W power brick, the Pro Plus bumps the charging speed to an ultimate 120W. In the standard features and screen stats, they are essentially twins.
